Our managing owners Frankie Camacho, Richard Van Sluytman and Jennifer Prashad bring a combined total of 90+ years’ experience in the Shipping Industry. This experience reaches across generations and spans the beginning of the industry to present day.

Our journey to becoming one of the leading shipping agencies started generations ago when Frankie and Captain Richard began working in their respective family businesses. Frankie worked as the Accountant and Wharf Manager at M.P Camacho Limited started by his great grandfather. Meanwhile, the young Captain Richard was master of his own vessel at Van Sluytman & Partners which was started by his grandfather and relatives.

Together Frankie and Captain Richard learnt the diverse skills they would need to start their own shipping agency in 1987. Through the years Frankie and Captain Richard have built a solid reputation for C&V Shipping by using one of the most effective strategies – consistently providing sound, reliable and efficient services. Today, their wealth of knowledge has been shared with the agency’s younger team members who are poised to support the growth of C&V Shipping into the future.
