The Shipping Association of Guyana was represented by a substantive delegation at the 55th Annual General Meeting, Conference and Exhibition of the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA), held from October 12-14th, 2025 in Paramaribo, Suriname.
During the conference, SAG Chairman Dr. Komal Singh delivered Guyana’s Report and led a team in high-level discussions with CSA President Mr. William Brown and General Manager Ms. Milaika Capella Ras.
The discussions focused on advancing regional shipping collaboration and outlining initial preparations for Guyana’s hosting of the 56th CSA AGM and Conference in Georgetown in 2026.
The delegation included Trustees Dr. Desmond Sears and Mr. Andrew Astwood, immediate past President Mr. Philip Fernandes, Vice Chairman Mr. Allan Newark, Committee Member Mrs. Glenis Hodge and Secretary Mr. Ian D’Anjou.
