Yesterday at the Aiden Hotel, Georgetown, the Shipping Association of Guyana, successfully launched the Caribbean Shipping Association’s (CSA) 56th Annual General Meeting, Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for October 25-28, 2026 at the Marriott Hotel, Georgetown.

The feature address and official Conference launch was delivered by Hon. Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, Prime Minister of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. Hon. Thandi McAllister, Parliamentary Secretary/Director, Legal Services-MARAD and Chairman of the Association Dr. Komal Singh, gave remarks at the ceremony. This historic launch marks the first time Guyana will host the CSA’s flagship regional maritime event.
Together, we are building a more connected, efficient, and sustainable maritime future for the Caribbean. For the first time in our history, Guyana will welcome over 350 maritime leaders, port officials, and industry stakeholders from across the Caribbean and the world.
